ENGR. ADEYEMI, SURAJUDEEN ADEKANBI (MNSE,MNIM, R.COREN) born on 9th of September 1985 to the family of Late Prince M. Ola Adeyemi (former PDP Vice chairman, ward 15, (1999-2007), A native of Agboguro’s compound omida, Ibara in Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi is an accomplished engineer with an excellence record. An alumna of the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo state where he graduated with second class (Hons.) upper division in mechanical engineering and Federal polytechnic Ilaro, where he obtained a National Diploma in mechanical engineering. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi had both his primary and secondary education in Abeokuta at Our lady of Apostle, Ibara and Ijemo Titun high school, Ibara Abeokuta respectively. His outstanding performance earn him a number of scholarship awards which include the Shell HSE competence development training program and The Oba Adedapo Tejuosho scholarship award among others. Engr Surajudeen Adeyemi observed his mandatory one-year National Youth Service Scheme at Government Day Secondary School, Kajiji, Shagari local government area, Sokoto State where he proved himself to be a great ambassador of our dear state. Professionally, he is a registered member of the Council for the Registration of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN), A corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and Member Nigeria Institute of Mechanical Engineers (MNIME). He is also a corporate member of Nigeria institute of management (MNIM) and an Associate member of Institute of Mechanical Engineers (AIMECH) United Kingdom. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi began his political journey when joined the People’s Democratic Party as a youth member in 2001. He acted as the youth coordinator for the gubernatorial campaign of Dr Doyin Okupe in constituency II. He was also a volunteer during campaigns of former Governor Gbenga Daniel responsible for pasting campaign posters around the state. His Participation in politics got him a job at the ministry of works in year 2011. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi all through his Polytechnic and University days participated actively in school politics. He was voted Vice President, National Association of Polytechnic Engineers (NAPES) Federal Polytechnic Ilaro chapter in 2003, Treasurer, Association of Mechanical Engineering Student (AMPES) FUTA chapter, and welfare director, National Association of Ogun State Student (NAOSS), FUTA chapter. He has actively participated in party activities, nation building and humanity progress. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi believes that the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. He believes that we have looked on for too long and allowed those without care for the suffering masses to assume position of authority only for them to pillage our commonwealth. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi is running for Ogun state House of Assembly Abeokuta south constituency II position in 2023 and he believes he can make a difference for hundreds of thousands of people in his community. He believes it’s time to join in the legislation and administration of the abundant resources God has given us. Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi is the CEO Amain Engineering Services and his happily married with children.

He has been doing series of empowerment for women in the constituency such as putting smiles of the faces of traders through the provision of cash gifts to aid their businesses and as well as provision of food items to the eight wards that make up Abeokuta South Costituency 2 at most festive periods.

Engr. Surajudeen Adeyemi is brewing with impactful initiatives and programmes for the youths of the constituency as well .
