The Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Ethnic Affairs, Chief Monday ChuKuwjii has enjoined Ndi Igbo in Owode -idiiroko to continue to live in peace and harmony among themselves, and other people of the host community as it through this that more progress and development would be sustained.

Chief Chukuwjii gave the charge during his visit on Friday, to the Olu of Owode, Oba Mathew Akindele at his palace in Owode-Yewa area of Yewa South Local Governmen area of the State.

The Special Assistant, who is also the Youths President of Ohanneze South West, said ” the need to maintain continuous peaceful co-existence of all and sundry in Owode should be paramount in the mind of everyone. No doubt, it is through this and your further support for this administration led by our Indefatigable Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR that more and more progress and projects in all spheres could be attained in this town, Local government and Ogun State in general”

He described Governor Dapo Abiodun as a Progressive who impactful projects in line with the ISEYA mantra have been visible in all the three Senatorial districts of the state, adding that by the grace of God and support of the good people of Ogun state the Ilaro- Owode road completion would become a reality come May 2022 as promised by the governor.

Chief Chukuwji also urged those who are eligible and yet to register to do so and obtain their PVC. He reminded the people on the need to get vaccinated against Covid- 19 as the government has made vaccines available in many of Primary Heath Centres in the state. He therefore implored the people of the area to remain with the All Progressives Party, APC at all time.

In his remarks, the Olu of Owode , Oba Sunday Akindele commended the Governor’s aide for his efforts, adding that the people of Owode Yewa won’t not waiver in their support for the present administration. The monarch also honoured Chief Monday Chuckwudi as Peace Ambassador of Owode Yewa for his efforts towards sustainability of peace in the town.
