The Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Hon (chief) Mrs Kikelomo Aridunnu Delano has sought for the royal blessings from the royal fathers in the council area as she paddles the canoe of administration of Ifo Local Government.
The Executive Chairman sought for the royal blessings while paying homage to the royal fathers as part of the activities lined up for the 100 days in office of the administration.
The first point of call was the palace of OLOFIN OF ISHERI, HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, OBA SULAIMON BAMGBADE where the Executive Chairman made her intention to seek for royal blessings and more support of the entire land for the success of her led administration.
Responding, the Olofin of Isheri land thanked the council boss for dimming it fit to pay homage to his palace. The royal father, however also used the occasion to solicit for the assistance of the chairman in the grading of the palace road and the construction of drainage to serve as control of erosion . The monarch, thereafter showered royal blessings on the visiting council boss.
The next point of call was the palace of OLU OF IFO LAND, OBA SAMUEL OLADIPUPO where the Executive Chairman expressed her gratitude to the monarch for his unflinching support at all times.
Hon Delano seized the opportunity to give account of stewardship in the last 100 days with the promise to do more as soon as fund is available.
The highlight of the day 1 of the 100 days celebration was the novelty match between the career and political functionaries which ended by 2 goal to 1 in favour of the political functionaries.
As part of the Executive chairman’s entourage were the Vice chairman, Hon Dapo Adebesin, leader, Hon Lanre Adeleye and other members of the legislative arm, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs Taiwo Akintomide, Directors of various departments and Heads of Unit as well as the executives of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, led by the chairman, Comrade Jimoh Aliu.
