The remains of the late Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council, Comrade Olusoji Samson Amosu was yesterday buried in his residence at Bode Olude, Lambo area of Abeokuta..

Amosu died on Sunday, 14 of November, 2021 after a brief illness.

Earlier in the morning,his remains was laid in state at the Ogun State NUJ Secretariat, Iwe-irohin, Abeokuta where last respect was paid by senior colleagues, Journalists, associates , family,friends and well-wishers to the deceased

Despite the fact that his death was a painful losst to all whose paths had crossed with the Late Chairman of the Ogun Nuj, he was sent forth to eternal life in blaze of glory and celebrations

In his sermon titled ” the Final Journey’ at the burial service held at the Antioch Baptist Church,Surudara Bode Olude, Abeokuta, the Sherperd of the Church, Revd. Rotimi Afuape said that death Is the inevitable end of all human beings.

The cleric described the final Journey as the end to all chanllenges of the world, adding that the deceased had weathered his own chanllenges during his life time to the best of his able capacity.

quoting copiously from Revealtions 21 verse 4, Hebrew 9 verse 8, Corinthians 2 ves 10, Revd Afuape urged the gathering to always be of good deeds in all their doings as ” we will all appear before the judgement tabernacle one day”

Present at the church service were top media executive in Ogun , Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Senior Special Adviser to Ogun State Goernor on Media and Communication, Hon.Remmy Hassan, General Managers of NTA, Abeokuta, Mrs Funmi Wakama,, OGTV, Mr.Tunde Kassim, Media Adviser to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr.Kehinde Akinyemi, members of Association of Mass Communication Graduates(AMACOG) Class of ’92 Ogun State Polytechnic, among others.
