The Nigerian High Commission UK football team has beaten the football team of the Republic of Ireland three goals to two to qualify for the final of the Diplomatic League in London, Friday.
In a match watched by the Nigeria High Commissioner, His Excellency, Ambassador, Chief Sarafa Tunji Isola, the Nigerian side overwhelmed the Irish in the second half of the match.
Ambassador Isola has issued a congratulatory message to his team urging them to bring the coveted cup to Nigeria.
Ambassador Isola has recently introduced various innovations into the services of High Commission including the recently inaugurated SERVICOM Committee in the United Kingdom.
Commendations have poured in from Nigerian residents in the UK.
The Nigerian High Commission team would be facing Spain in the final in a date that would soon be announced.
