CELEBRATION, COMMENDATIONS AS EZE NDI IGBO OF OGUN BESTOWS OGBUEFI TITLE ON UZOR IGWE IGNATIUS

It was moment of joy, celebration and extolling of Sterling qualities and characters of High chief Uzor Ignatius as the Eze ndi Igbo of Ogun State, Eze Williams Okonkwo bestowed the traditional title of Ogbuefi on him.

The event which took place on Sunday witnessed massive turn out of Igbos in Ogun state, was held at the Palace of the Eze ndi igbo of Ogun state, Agasi, Ifo Local Government area of Ogun State.

Speaking at the installation ceremony, the traditional ruler said Chief Ignatius was worthy of the title based on his consistent sterling and remarkable qualities which he has been known for.

While congratulating the new Ogbuefi, the Monarch enjoined him to continue with the impactful leadership and harmonious relationship he and Igbos have built with the host community.

Also speaking, the Eze ndi Igbo of Abeokuta North, Eze Vincent Izunaso described Ogbuefi Ignatius as a peace loving Igbo leader in the State and one worthy of the title.

In his remarks, Deputy President, Ohaneze Youths,South West and President, Ogun State Chapter and also a Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor, High Chief Chukwueze Monday, described Ogbuefi Ignatius as a leader who has been committed to the progress of Igbo community in Owode Yewa, adding that “he is a man of the people, whenever he aspires for higher position in Owode, We will support him”

In their separate remarks, Oueen Tessy Nnadi,Mazi Solomon Ugbaje,Obi Ikenna,Akabueze Sylvannus and others described Ogbuefi Ignatius in glowing terms and therefore enjoined him to redouble his efforts towards harmonious and united Igbo community in Owode Yewa and Ogun state.

Ogbuefi Uzor Igwe Ignatius who expressed gratitude to Eze ndi Igbo of Ogun State, the Ogbuefi in Council and his kinsmen from Owode Yewa and other part of Ogun State , reiterated that he would’ not relent on his commitment at championing Peace,Progress and Unity of the Igbos in Owode Yewa and Ogun State in general.
