The chief of staff to Ogun State Governor, Alhaji Salisu shuaibu has again enjoined Muslim faithful to make use of the lessons taught during Ramadan in building a better Nigeria.

He stated this in his Sallah message while addressing Journalists on Thursday at the Lantoro Eid Praying Ground, Abeokuta.

Alhaji Shuaibu, who highlighted some of the teachings of Ramadan to the faithful charged them to be United, discipline and be conscious of their doings.

The chief of Staff who said the month of Ramadan has taught the faithful and other Nigerians in term of spiritual and socio- economic uprightness, urged them not to be despodent, give up as people or give up on Nigeria, adding that with prayers God would turn around the fortunes of the country for good.

Speaking in an interview, Commissioner for information and Strategy, while congratulating Muslims on the successful completion of the fast, urged Muslim faithful to continue to pray for peace and progress of the nation and that of Ogun State in particular.

Delivering his sermon, the Chief Imam of Egbaland, Sheik Imam Sa’adallah Bamgbola urged all and Sundry to pray for those in positions of authority. He added that they need Allah’s wisdom to guide the nation on the right path.

Among the government top-notch officers led by the Chief of Staff to the occasion were the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Hon.Afolabi Afuape, Commissioner for Housing, Hon.Jagumolu Omoniyi, Member of the OGHA, Hon. Adejojo, representing Abk South 1, former Head of Service,Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu, serving and retired permanent secretaries.

At the Eid prayer, thousands of faithful and others were presented with edible gifts courtesy of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
