The Union of Beninese Residents in Ogun has donated a set of chairs to the Ogun NUJ federated Chapel as part of its support and contribution to the activities of members of the chapel.

Speaking at the brief presentation held at NUJ Secretariat, iwe-irohin, Abeokuta, the President of the union, Romain Kakpo said the Union donated the chairs in appreciation of the noble work being done by Journalists, especially those closer to the grassroots and also to establish strong and cordial relationship with the Chapel.,

In his remarks, the State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists,Ogun State Council, Comrade Soji Amosu thanked the Union for the support, adding that Journalists in the state would not relent in the discharge of their duties to all residents and good people of the state.

Whiile also appreciating the gesture of Union of Beninese Residents in Nigeria, U.B.E.N, the Chairman of Ogun NUJ Federated Chapel Comr..Lanre Adegboyega, enjoined the Union to see Journalists in the state as patrners ready for further progress of the union through adequate publicity.

Members present at the presentation were Secretary of the Council,Comrade Kunle Ewuoso, Assistant Secretary, Abiodun Taiwo, Elder Kunle Idowu and Chairman of Ogun NUJ Correspondents Chapel, Laide Raheem.

Other members of U.B.E.N at the event include Vice-president, Moise Agbetogan, Toviho Edouard, treasurer and one elder of the Union.
