The Olu of Oba-Eerin, HRM Oba Abdulganiu Adegun Sanyaolu, Oropo 1, has described his reign as one that has repostioned the town for good and impacful developments.
He, therefore, called on all the sons and daughters of Oba-Eerin for more support and collaboration so as to further enhance and positon the town for greater developments.
The monarch made the call during a brief interview at his Palace, in Oba, Obafemi-Owode Local Government area of Ogun State.
Oba Sanyaolu , who was crowned ten years ago, added that peace,progress and development which includes more modern buildings, reconstruction of schools,clinic, establishment of Chinese companies and provision of employment for the youths of Oba-Eerin, among others have been recorded since his ascension to the throne.
Speaking on the challenges facing the people of his domain, the monarch urged the concerned authorities to give priority to the road leading to the town.
Oba Adegun,who commended the iniative and steps taken by the Gov.Dapo Abiodun led administration towards bringing lasting solutions to Herders/farmers Clashes in the state, said open grazing has become archaic and those in the business of Cow rearing should adopt ranches as it is being done in other parts of the world.
Also, a Legal Practitioner and farmer, Barrister Adedayo Edun who is also a resident of Oba-Eerin, said that Oba-Eerin is fortunate to have Oba Adegun Sanyaolu as the monarch of the town as the town has been witnessing impactful projects.
He described Oba Sanyaolu as a king with a vision, focus and ready to do more to bring back past glory of the town. He added that Oba-Eerin had come up before Kobape and Alagada towns that are now taking the lead.
He added that with the lofty visions, efforts of the monarch,his chiefs and collaboration of people of the town, Oba-Eerin would soon take the lead back.
On establishment of Chinese companies in the town, Barr.Edun described this as a revolution that would open up the economy of the town,
“In no distance future this place will become a city, because people seeing developments will start requesting for land to establish industries here, resources are here and electricity is relatively stable” he concluded.
