GOV.ABIODUN BAGS IOD FELLOWS AWARD

Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been conferred with the fellows award of the Institute of Directors.

Receiving the award in his office at Governor’s office, oke-Mosan Abeokuta, on Wednesday,, Gov. Abiodun expressed appreciation to the Institute for considering him worthy of their fellows award.

He said” Our administration identifies with the Institute of Directors because through their activities, the Institute has helped in developing ethics of directorship while providing guidelines for stakeholders to fulfil their responsibilities in creating weath for the development of businesses and the society”.

Gov.Abiodun described the objectives of the institute as one that align with that of the administration on effective, responsible and responsive leadership characterised by ethical values, responsibility, accountability , fairness and transparency.

On the 18h of last month and on Thursday last week, Gov. Abiodun bagged the Best Governor Award in Education from the National Parents Teachers Association, Governor of the Year Award in Agriculture from Nigeria Agriculture Award,NAA and Governor of the Year (In Provision of affordable Housing) at the 2020 Edition of the Nigeria Housing Award ceremony held in Abuja.
